Jacavage Earns Albright College's Baseball MVP Award


During a live broadcast on May 25th, 2021, Albright College announced that student-athlete, Joshua Jacavage had earned the Baseball MVP award.

Jacavage, a Junior, from Shenandoah and a 2018 graduate of Shenandoah Valley is a Junior for Albright and is studying accounting.

In 2019 as a Freshman, Jacavage appeared in 23 games and made 19 starts for the Lions...Hit .269 with three home runs, 14 RBI, three doubles and six runs scored...Hit an RBI double in first career game at Scranton (2/23)...Drove in multiple runs in back-to-back games against Stevenson (3/22-3/23)...Hit first career home run at Arcadia (3/30)...Went 2-4 with a double, home run and three RBI at Widener (4/7)...Hit a two-run homer versus Delaware Valley (4/9)...Scored a pair of runs at Gwynedd Mercy (4/25).

In 2020 as a Sophmore, he appeared in and started in six games for the Lions before season was canceled due to COVID-19 outbreak...Tallied four hits, three runs scored, and a team-leading 5 RBI's...Hit one home run, tied for team lead with two doubles, and drew four walks...Hit game-tying three run home run against Marymount (VA) (2/23)...Went 2-of-3 from the plate with a RBI, double, and a triple versus Wilson (3/1)...Hit RBI double against Scranton (3/7).

In 2021, he appeared in 18 games, pitching in 3 of them and finished the season with a .339 batting average.  He also plays first base.
