Truck Driver Not Injured After Rollover on Interstate 81 near Frackville

The driver of a tractor trailer was not injured after crashing his semi on Thursday.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred around 6:18pm, on September 2nd, 2021 when David McCall, 35, of Drexel Hill, PA was driving his tractor trailer and attempted to enter Interstate 81 southbound from Route 61 northbound at Exit 124 near Frackville.

While on the on-ramp, McCall lost control and overturned the truck and trailer onto its driver side coming to a rest in the middle of the Interstate.

McCall was not injured and refused treatment from Frackville EMS.

Interstate 81 was restricted to 1 lane for approximately 2 hours and closed for 1 while crews recovered and towed the truck from the scene.

State Police were assisted at the scene by fire departments from Altamont, Englewood, William Penn, as well as PennDOT.
