According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred around 7:40am on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022 at the intersection of Route 901 and Taylorsville Road in Barry Township, south of Lavelle.

Troopers say the crash occurred as David Lamb, 49, of Bloomsburg attempted to pull out from Taylorsville Road on Route 901 and drove into the path of Michael Malewski, 65, of Orwigsburg.

Both vehicles slid off of Route 901.

Malewski suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

Lamb fled the scene on foot.

A search of the Lamb's Buick Lacrosse also led to the finding that he was in possession of illegal substances.

Lamb will face charges for fleeing the scene of the crash as well as drug charges.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Stiely's Towing.
