The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of thousands of dollars from the Tower City American Legion.
According to Troopers, an investigation found that $28,267.96 was stolen by theft of disposition of funds from the Tower City American Legion Post 468 located on Clarks Valley Road in Porter Township between January 1st and December 31st of 2019.
The investigation is still ongoing.
