Emergency personnel responded to a reported shooting in Mahanoy City on Friday morning.
Around 9:30am, Friday, Police and EMS responded to the Mahanoy City Police Station, in the 200 Block of East Pine Street, after a victim arrived at the station with a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported by Mahanoy City EMS to a local hospital.
There is no word on the victim's condition, where the shooting occurred, or if a person is in custody at this time. The investigation is still ongoing.
