New Philadelphia Woman Calls 911 and State Police Over Two Dozen Times, Faces Harassment Charges

A New Philadelphia woman is facing charges after calling 911 and the State Police over two dozen times in one night.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, beginning on April 14th, 2022, around 10:50pm, Maureen Sullivan, 58, of New Philadelphia began calling the Frackville Barracks to report that "the CIA was at her residence and was a using a chainsaw to cut through her roof".

When police arrived on scene, no members of the CIA were found, and it was determined that Sullivan appeared to be under the influence and was advised to stop calling 911 unless she had an emergency.

Troopers say between 10:50pm, on Thursday, April 14th, 2022 and 4:45am, on Friday, April 15th, 2022, Sullivan called the Frackville Barracks 22 times and 911 communications 5 times for no legitimate reason.

State Police have filed harassment charges on Sullivan.
