Over $10,000 in Tools and Copper Reportedly Stolen from Construction Site in Mahanoy Township

The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are investigating the theft of over $10,000 in tools in Mahanoy Township.

According to Troopers, sometime overnight from Tuesday, March 15th, 2022 to Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, someone cut the lock off a metal gate at a construction site along Morea Road near Mahanoy City.

The suspect(s) forced entry into 3 storage buildings and 2 storage lockers.

Various tools and metal were stolen including

  • Chainsaw
  • Sawzaw
  • 16" Saw
  • Demo Saw
  • Hand Tools
  • Copper
  • Hod Cutters
  • MDG Press
  • Sets of MDG Dies
  • Voltage Testers
  • Antique Fire Extinguisher
The estimated total of all items stolen is over $10,000.
