During the ceremony, 18 students, who are now eligible to sit for the NCLEX Examination which enables them to become licensed practical nurses, were awarded degrees and awards.
Savannah Williams was awarded the Schuylkill Technology Center Highest Overall Average Award. Brandi Fenstermacher, was awarded the Doreen Arndt Award for her outstanding performance in the area of Geriatric Nursing. Ashlee Snyder was awarded the Gloria Ellinger Memorial Award in honor of her professionalism and perseverance to succeed. Brittany Forney was awarded the Martha Malinchock Memorial Award in honor of her compassionate and giving nature. Marissa Janoka was give the Retired Nurses of Schuylkill County Award for her endurance and perseverance. Amanda Graeff was awarded the Sheila Colihan Memorial Fund for her commitment to serving others.
