State Police Suspect Pit Bull Burned Alive near Pottsville

The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a case of animal cruelty near Pottsville.

Troopers says in Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, a dispatch was received to the finding of charred remainsof a pit bull that was discovered at a campsite approximately 1 mile off road from Ann Street in Norwegian Township within Peach Mountain.

An investigation by police lead them to suspect that dog was burned alive between the hours of 11:00pm on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022 and 5:00am on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022.
