The driver of a vehicle fled after a crash near Ashland overnight.
Around 12:15am, Wednesday, emergency personnel were called to Route 54 near Big Mine Run, Butler Township, for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries.
When personnel arrived at the scene of a crash where a Ford SUV had crashed come to a rest wedged between a guide rail, tree, and a sign. The driver had already fled.
Responding to the scene were the Ashland Rescue, Englewood Fire Company, Lavelle Fire Company, Ashland EMS, and the Pennsylvania State Police.
State Police are investigating.
