Crews have been at the scene of a train derailment that occurred overnight in Rush Township.
No official details have been released on the incident but sources have told us the derailment that occurred near Hometown occurred sometime before 3:00am.
Along Route 54, the derailment was visable where you could see 7 cargo cars had either tipped or come completely off the tracks.
Cars that had no derailed had already been moved from the scene by noon time.
We were told that the train was Reading Blue Mountain & Northern freight train.We will post more information on this incident as it becomes available.
