A standoff in Ringtown ended peacefully overnight.
Around 9:30pm, we received reports from Ringtown that there was a heavy police presence near a home on Spring Street in Ringtown.
Around 10:15pm, fire police were called for traffic control to Spring Street at the Oak Street intersection.
As the night went on, police could be heard calling over a loudspeaker, asking for the individual to come out of the home.
A State Police SERT Team would arrive in the early morning hours.
Just before 2:00am, the person involved came out of the home and surrendered peacefully.
Details on what led up to this incident or the individual involved have not been made available.
