Shenandoah Man Jailed, Over $43,000 in Drugs Seized During Bust Friday Morning


A Shenandoah man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after a drug bust Friday morning.

On Friday morning, members of the Pennsylvania State Police and Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office, Drug Task Force conducted a joint investigation which resulted in the execution of a Court Authorized Search and Seizure Warrant on a residence located within the Borough of Shenandoah.

Seized during the search of the residence were substantial items of contraband, including but not limited to, the following:
  • In excess of 160 grams of fentanyl with an estimated street value in excess of $19,200
  • In excess of 485 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value in excess $24,250
  • $1,600.00 in United States Currency
  • 2 firearms
As a result of the seizure, Mark Ryan Dabney, 33, of Shenandoah, was charged with:
  • Possession With the Intent to Deliver (fentanyl)
  • Possession With the Intent to Deliver (methamphetamine)
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (fentanyl)
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms.
Dabney was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli, Frackville, and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $150,000 straight cash bail.
