Scranton Man Cited for Road Rage Incident on Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County

A Scranton man is facing charges after a road rage incident in Schuylkill County on Interstate 81.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Sunday, June 11th, 2023, troopers responded to mile marker 136.5 on Interstate 81 southbound in Delano Township for a report of a disturbance.

Police learned from two drivers became involved in an argument while they were stuck in traffic for a motor vehicle accident down the highway.  During that argument, Michael Cristiano, 44, of Scranton intentionally cut off and brake checked several vehicles, and threw a bottle filled with an unknown liquid at one of them.

As a result, Cristiano was cited for disorderly conduct.
