Frackville Elks Host Annual Ride for Veterans, Raising Funds for Veterans Service Program.
FRACKVILLE - On a sunny Saturday morning, the Frackville Elks held their annual Ride for Veterans motorcycle run, bringing together the community to support a noble cause.

Nearly 100 motorcycles riders donned their helmets and hit the road on their motorcycles, revving up their engines to raise money for the Frackville Elks Veterans Service Program.

The ride commenced at 11:00 am at the Elks Lodge located at 307 South 3rd Street. The riders gathered, ready to embark on a day-long journey that would take them through Northern Pennsylvania and back to Frackville.

The ride featured four stops along its route to allow the participants to rest, socialize, and enjoy the local hospitality. The first stop was at the Hoggs Hallow Saloon in Berwick, where the riders took a short break.

Next on the list was the Jamison City Hotel in Benton, where riders took a break to grab some lunch. As the day progressed, the journey led them to the Stone Creek Bar and Grill in Hunlock Creek, and the Montfort Lounge Cabana Bar in Sheppton.

"We're not only riding for the thrill but also to give back to those who have served our country." said one of the participants prior to the ride.

Upon their return to Frackville, the riders were treated to a dinner hosted by the Frackville Elks. The spread included hot dogs, hamburgers, and pulled pork, prepared by dedicated Elks members.

The Frackville Elks' annual Ride for Veterans not only brings motorcycle enthusiasts together but also serves as a reminder of the importance of honoring and assisting veterans who have sacrificed so much for the nation. The funds raised from this year's event will go towards supporting the Veterans Service Program, providing assistance to those who have bravely served their country.
