Shenandoah Man Faces Charges for Exposing Himself to a Teenager

A Shenandoah man was charged this week for exposing himself to a teen earlier this year.

According to court documents, Shenandoah Police Officer charged Jose Rosado, 66, of Shenandoah, on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023, with indecent exposure and corruption of minors for incident in March.

The affidavit stated that on June 28, 2023, Shenandoah Ptlmn. Mindy Parker responded to a home on South West Street in the borough for a report that Rosado exposed himself to a 13-year-old female.

An investigation with the help of surveillance video recordings found Rosado exposed his penis to the teen on Wednesday, March 31, 2023, at a home on West Lloyd Street.

As a result of the findings, Rosado was taken into custody on Wednesday on the above charges and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Kilker.

He posted bail his $20,000 straight cash bail through a bondsman on Friday, July 7, 2023, and was released.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 20, 2023.
