One person has died in a crash on Interstate 78 in Berks County early Monday morning.
TILDEN TOWNSHIP, BERKS COUNTY - According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, around 3:30am on Monday, Troopers responded to a crash on Interstate 78 eastbound near mile marker 29.7 in Tilden Township, Berks County.
Troopers say a vehicle was traveling eastbound when the driver lost control, leaving the roadway and struck the end of a guide rail.
The vehicle came to a stop approximately 50 feet off the roadway.
The Pennsylvania State Police say the passenger in the vehicle died in the crash. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
