Ashland Man Faces Assault Charges for Attacking Woman with a Machete in Dauphin County

An Ashland man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison for allegedly attacking a woman with a machete in Dauphin County.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Lykens, the incident occurred in Williams Township, Dauphin County, on October 5th, 2023.

Troopers say Tushon Myet Laquan Handley arrived at the Laurel Hill Apartments on Autumn Drive and trespassed.

Handley reportedly went to a female's apartment where an argument turned physical, and he refused to leave.

The woman told police that Handley assaulter her and cut her with a machete.  He then fled into the woods when police were called.

Handley was later taken into custody outside of another apartment.  Handley was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Rebecca Jo Margerum on charges of aggravated assault, trespassing, making terroristic threats, and harassment.

He was then locked up in Dauphin County Prison unable to post $25,000 straight cash bail.
