Shenandoah Man Faces Charges for Altercation in Tremont Township

A Shenandoah man is facing numerous charges after an alleged altercation at a Tremont Township business.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on Saturday, October 9th, 2023, around 1:00pm, Troopers responded to the area of 280-Block of Route 209 in Tremont Township.  It was not specified but this in the area of Big Lots Distribution Center.

Troopers learned that Arthur Needham, 47, of Shenandoah was involved in a physical altercation at a business then fled the scene.  The other person involved sustained injuries.

State Police identified, located, and arrested Needham and charged him with 2 counts of felony aggravated assault, and 2 counts of misdemeanor simple assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment. 

He was arraigned before on-call Magisterial District Judge James Reiley and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
