Charges are pending after a crash on Mahantongo Street early Saturday morning in Pottsville.
According to Pottsville Police, on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, around 2:40am, officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Mahantongo Street, for the report of a motor vehicle accident.
During the course of the investigation, police learned that a 2023 Toyota Corolla, driven by Jadyn Preti, 22, of Pottsville, struck two legally parked vehicles.
Preti told police that she made the turn, too fast and lost control of the vehicle.
The two parked vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene by.
Preti sustained minor injuries during the crash and refused medical treatment.
As a result of the investigation, Preti was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending until the investigation is complete.
