A serious crash has closed Route 443 near Pine Grove on Friday afternoon.
Just after 3:15pm, Friday, emergency personnel were called to the area of Pleasant Valley Road (Route 443) and Waterfall Road in Pine Grove Township for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.
The first emergency personnel on scene advised of a head-on crash involving an SUV and a Geisinger Bus/Van that struck head-on.
Two people were reported to be entrapped and three helicopters were requested for the injured. The landing zones have been established at the Pine Grove Area School District.
The crash closed Route 443 in the area.
