Upon arrival, Pottsville Police began an investigation into the one-vehicle collision.
The investigation revealed that 37-year-old Amy Beadle, of Pottsville, was driving a Hyundai Kona with her 7-year-old son, was traveling Westbound on York Farm Road and lost control of vehicle, hitting a wire guardrail and traveling down an embankment rolling into a tree.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Pottsville Fire Company assisted on scene with clean up and traffic control.
Beadle and the 7-year-old were both wearing their seatbelts and were not injured.
