Shenandoah Man Wanted on Multiple Felony Charges Following Home Invasion

Authorities are looking for a Shenandoah man accused of a violent home invasion and assault that occurred on May 17, 2025, in the borough.

Victor Manuel Lantigua-Gutierrez, 39, of Shenandoah, is wanted in connection with a series of serious offenses that took place around 5:00 p.m. at a residence on North White Street. According to Shenandoah Borough Police, Lantigua-Gutierrez allegedly entered the home of his former partner without permission and assaulted her during a robbery.

Police say the suspect gained entry through an unlocked front door and began demanding money. When the victim stated she had none, Lantigua-Gutierrez allegedly became enraged, striking her multiple times in the face and causing visible injuries.

The situation escalated when the suspect attempted to access the victim’s vehicle parked nearby. Knowing her wallet was hidden inside, the victim tried to intervene, at which point Lantigua-Gutierrez reportedly pushed her and choked her while retrieving the wallet. He allegedly took between $600 and $700 in cash before fleeing the scene on foot.

The victim ran to a nearby fire station for help. Officers arriving on the scene observed visible injuries consistent with her account but were unable to locate the suspect despite searching the area.

As a result of the incident, Lantigua-Gutierrez is now wanted on multiple charges, including:

  • Burglary – Overnight Accommodations; Person Present, Bodily Injury Crime (F1)
  • Strangulation – Applying Pressure to Throat or Neck (F2)
  • Criminal Trespass – Enter Structure (F3)
  • Robbery – Take Property by Force (F3)
  • Recklessly Endangering Another Person (M2)
  • Simple Assault (M2)
  • Theft by Unlawful Taking – Movable Property (M2)
  • Receiving Stolen Property (M2)
  • Harassment – Subjecting Another to Physical Contact (Summary Offense)
