Traffic Alert: Overnight Lane Closures on Route 61 in Saint Clair for Utility Work

Motorists traveling on Route 61 through the Saint Clair area should plan for minor delays tonight due to overnight utility work.
According to PennDOT, traffic will be stopped intermittently between 9:00 PM tonight (Thursday, May 15) and 5:00 AM Friday morning as utility crews perform essential work in the area between Terry Rich Boulevard (Wal-Mart entrance) and Darkwater Road.

Flaggers will be on-site to manage traffic, allowing vehicles to pass in alternating directions. Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution, expect brief delays, and consider using alternate routes if possible.

This work is part of ongoing infrastructure improvements along the SR 61 corridor.
