A 21-year-old Minersville man is facing a criminal charge after police say he trespassed at a local park pavilion posted with “No Trespassing” signs.
Juan Villanueva-Guzman, 21, has been charged with criminal trespass–defiant trespass following an investigation by the Minersville Borough Police Department.

Minersville Mayor Sean Palmer initially alerted police to the issue after receiving multiple reports of juveniles trespassing at the pavilion. Witnesses reported that the group had been seen hanging from rafters and tampering with security cameras.
Officers reviewed security footage from the scene, which showed several individuals on the premises. One of the individuals was notably wearing a shirt reading “I love Hot Moms,” which led to several identifications on social media. The subject in the shirt was identified as a juvenile.
Police conducted a follow-up at a residence on North Street, where the juvenile confirmed his identity in the footage and also stated that his older brother, Juan Villanueva-Guzman, had been with him at the pavilion.
The complaint, notes that the Lions Pavilion is marked with multiple “No Trespassing” signs.
Based on the evidence and statements collected, police filed the charge against Villanueva-Guzman through Magisterial District Judge David Plachko’s office.
