Motorists traveling between Frackville and West Mahanoy Township should be prepared for ongoing daytime lane restrictions as PennDOT maintenance crews continue paving work on Morea Road this week.
According to PennDOT, the project stretches through both Frackville Borough and West Mahanoy Township in Schuylkill County. Crews are scheduled to work daily from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday, July 7, through Friday, July 11, 2025.
During these hours, lane restrictions will be in place, with flaggers directing alternating traffic through the work zone. Drivers should expect possible delays and are urged to use caution when traveling through the area.
