Two Wanted Men Arrested During Traffic Stop in Pottsville



Two 18-year-old men wanted in connection to aggravated assault cases in multiple counties were arrested Monday afternoon during a traffic stop in Pottsville.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the arrests occurred around 1:54 p.m. on July 15, 2025, in the City of Pottsville. Troopers had received information earlier that day that Justin Kruse, a wanted individual from Northumberland and Columbia Counties, may be staying in the Hegins Township area.

During their investigation, troopers obtained intelligence indicating that Kruse was traveling northbound on State Route 61 in a black sedan. A traffic stop was conducted in Pottsville, where Kruse was taken into custody without incident.

Also in the vehicle was Dylan Poe, 18, who was discovered to also be wanted for aggravated assault. Poe was placed under arrest at the scene.

Both Kruse and Poe were transferred to the custody of Pennsylvania State Police-Bloomsburg for arraignment proceedings related to their outstanding charges.
