A woman was taken into custody late Friday night after a vehicle crashed into a home on Walnut Street in Ashland.
The incident occurred around 11:00 p.m., Friday, when the driver reportedly drove through a yard, and struck the residence at 2501 Walnut Street. The force of the impact caused damage to the property, but there were no immediate reports of injuries to the occupants of the home.
Ashland Police arrived at the scene and took the female driver into custody. The nature of the charges or cause of the crash has not yet been released, and authorities have not confirmed whether impairment or other factors were involved.
