Downtown Orwigsburg will be the place to be this Saturday as the community comes together for Heritage Day 2025, running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The annual event, hosted by the Orwigsburg Area Business and Professional Association, features a full lineup of activities, entertainment, and food. This year’s highlight is the America250PA Mobile Experiential Unit, an interactive exhibit presented by the Orwigsburg Historical Society that celebrates Pennsylvania’s role in America’s 250th birthday. Visitors can try out trivia games, a retro-style video game, and even record their own story.
Along Main Street, guests can enjoy the Steel Pony Car Show, Schaeffer’s Classic Motorcycles, wagon rides, Irish dancers, stilt walkers, and plenty of kid-friendly activities like bounce houses, crafts, and face painting.
Food lovers will find everything from lobster rolls and Latin American street food to funnel cakes, fudge, soups, and farm-fresh produce. Live music will keep the festival lively, with two stages featuring local acts including Jeremiah James, Zenith, the Coal Fired Ramblers, and Tommy Dee.
With vendors, artisans, and family fun throughout downtown, Heritage Day offers something for everyone.
