Girardville Woman Charged After Punching Neighbor’s TV in Meth-Fueled Outburst

A Girardville woman is facing charges after Pennsylvania State Police say she damaged her neighbor’s television during an incident Monday evening.
According to PSP Frackville, troopers were called to Reed Street in Girardville around 8:05 p.m. on October 20th for a report of criminal mischief. The 62-year-old female victim told police that her neighbor, identified as 43-year-old Simona Kline, punched her television, breaking it.

When officers arrived, Kline admitted to striking the 58-inch Hisense TV, valued at approximately $280. When asked why she damaged the property, police say Kline told them she had asked the victim for a “line of drugs” and became upset because her husband had hung the television.

When troopers pressed further, Kline allegedly admitted she was referring to methamphetamine.

Police filed a non-traffic citation against Kline, charging her with one summary count of criminal mischief under $1,000.
