Schuylkill County Woman Arrested After Traffic Stop Leads to Recovery of Kidnapped Juveniles in Cumberland County


A Tamaqua woman is among two individuals arrested late Sunday night after a traffic stop by Pennsylvania State Police led to the recovery of two juvenile females who had been reported kidnapped out of Tennessee.
According to Pennsylvania State Police at Carlisle, troopers were notified of the incident at approximately 11:51 p.m. on February 1, 2026. A traffic stop was initiated on a 2025 gray Nissan Rogue traveling northbound on Interstate 81 in South Middleton Township.

During the stop, troopers located two juvenile females inside the vehicle. Police confirmed both juveniles had been reported kidnapped from Tennessee. Authorities stated the juveniles were located safely.

One of the individuals taken into custody was Ana Rodriguez Gonzalez, 60, of Tamaqua, Schuylkill County. The second arrestee was identified as Henry Rodriguez, 36, of Allentown.

Both individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland County Prison, where they are being held pending extradition proceedings to Tennessee.

The incident remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police at Carlisle. No additional details were released at this time.
