According to court documents, Walter Brandon Gera, 34, of Wayne Township, was charged by Pennsylvania State Police after an incident on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at a residence on Fair Road.
Troopers were dispatched to the home for a report of an active physical domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, police encountered Gera on the front porch of the residence. Authorities reported he was unclothed and appeared to be under the influence.
Investigators say Gera had been drinking the previous evening and became increasingly agitated, allegedly yelling and throwing objects throughout the home.
According to the affidavit, the incident escalated when Gera became physical with a female victim, striking her and causing visible injuries, including bruising and redness. During the altercation, he also allegedly grabbed and threw the victim’s walker across the kitchen and smashed her cellphone, preventing her from calling for help.
Police reported extensive damage inside the residence, including broken furniture, household items, and other personal belongings scattered throughout the home. Damage was estimated to exceed $1,000.
A second victim, an elderly woman, told investigators she remained in her room out of fear during the incident but heard items being thrown and damage occurring throughout the house.
Gera is charged with:
- Aggravated Assault (Felony 1)
- Two counts of Simple Assault (Misdemeanor 2)
- Criminal Mischief (Misdemeanor and Summary)
- Recklessly Endangering Another Person (Misdemeanor 2)
- Harassment (Summary)
- Open Lewdness (Misdemeanor 3)
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 2, 2026, before Magisterial District Judge Christian Lengel.
