D.G. Yuengling & Son will introduce the latest entry in its Eagle Series next month with the release of Eagle Series #17, Polska Pilsner, a crisp, easy-drinking lager inspired by traditional Polish brewing character.
Described as bright, clean, and exceptionally refreshing, the new brew showcases the classic character of Lubelski hops, along with a gentle dry-hop addition that adds aroma and finesse. According to Yuengling, the beer features notes of wildflowers, fresh herbs, and soft spice, balanced by delicate malt sweetness and a snappy, dry finish.
The brewery says the result is a pilsner that is traditional in spirit while offering a distinctly Polish signature.
The release event will take place on Wednesday, April 9, at Yuengling’s gift shop and retail area located at 420 Mahantongo Street in Pottsville.
In addition to the release of Polska Pilsner, visitors will also be able to enjoy free samples of Mrs. T’s Mini Classic Cheddar Pierogies from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. that evening.
Beer purchases will be available from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on April 9. Yuengling is also offering 10% off retail merchandise that day, excluding beer purchases.
According to Meghan Heim, Assistant Public Relations Manager of Mrs. T’s Pierogies, the collaboration is a natural fit.
“We were so excited when Yuengling reached out to us about this opportunity to work with them,” Heim said. “We are looking forward to supporting their tasting with our pierogies. We think it’s the perfect Skook pairing!”
The event brings together two well-known local favorites for what organizers are calling a uniquely Schuylkill County experience.
