Downtown Shenandoah Inc. to Celebrate Opening of New CEBA Building

Downtown Shenandoah Inc. (DSI) has announced the official opening of its new Center for Education, Business, & Arts (CEBA) building, marking a major step forward in ongoing revitalization efforts in the borough.
A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the new facility, located at 115 North Main Street in downtown Shenandoah. The event is expected to draw local officials, community leaders, and other dignitaries as DSI celebrates the completion of the project and its broader mission to strengthen economic development in the area.

Following the ceremony, attendees will be invited to enjoy light refreshments provided by local restaurants and take part in guided tours of the building. The tours will showcase the facility’s features and highlight the programs and resources it is expected to offer to residents, businesses, and regional partners.

“This new space represents an exciting step forward for Shenandoah,” said Karen Kenderdine, Senior Vice President and Director of Relationship Services at Mid Penn Bank. “We look forward to welcoming the community and sharing how this building will serve as a hub for growth, collaboration, and innovation.”

The CEBA building is intended to serve as a central hub for education, business development, and the arts, providing opportunities that support both local entrepreneurs and community initiatives.

Community members, partners, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend the grand opening and take part in the celebration of this new addition to downtown Shenandoah.
