The event, held at the lodge on South Third Street, included the formal swearing-in of officers for the 2026–2027 term. Past Exalted Rulers conducted the installation, continuing a long-standing tradition within the organization.
Prior to the installation ceremony, several individuals were honored for their contributions during the 2025–2026 lodge year. This year’s award recipients included:
- Citizen of the Year — Ronald Whalen
- Elk of the Year — Theresa Reed
- Officer of the Year — James Samelko
In addition, Grand Exalted Ruler Special Commendation Awards were presented to Jackie Skorski and Gloria Burda in recognition of their service.
All award recipients also received special citations from Tim Twardzik and David G. Argall, acknowledging their contributions at both the local and state level.
