Man Charged Following Early Morning Stabbing in Shenandoah


A man is behind bars following an early morning stabbing incident that occurred Sunday in Shenandoah.
According to the Shenandoah Borough Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of West Coal Street at approximately 3:03 a.m. on April 26, 2026, for a report of a stabbing.

Police say the suspect, identified as Esteban Suc-Juc, was taken into custody at the scene. He has been charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated assault, aggravated assault causing bodily injury with a deadly weapon, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, recklessly risking death or serious bodily injury, and harassment.

Following arraignment, Suc-Juc was committed to Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $25,000 straight cash bail.

Details regarding the victim’s condition and the circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately available.
