According to the city, Laurel Boulevard will be closed to motor vehicle traffic between North 2nd Street and North 7th Street on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from approximately 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
During the closure, there will be no through traffic permitted in the area. Parking restrictions along the affected section of Laurel Boulevard will begin at 6:00 a.m. Saturday.
Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution while traveling near the event area due to increased pedestrian activity and event operations.
The City of Pottsville and the Pottsville Bureau of Police thanked the public in advance for their cooperation during the event.
