Francis “Moochie” Minrod
, 71, of New Philadelphia, passed away Monday, May 11th, at home.

Moochie was born in Pottsville, PA on December 20, 1954, a son of the late Kathryn (Farber) and Joseph Minrod.

He was a graduate of St. Clair High School, class of 1973.

Moochie worked for many years as a union laborer for Asphalt Paving Systems, Local 158.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed hunting and going to the drag races. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Moochie is survived by daughters Rachael Bartashus, wife of Joel and Jada Kolbe, wife of Steven; granddaughters Molly and Alaina Bartashus; sisters Patricia Hechler, Teresa Shamonsky, wife of John; brothers Joseph Minrod, husband of Cindy, and Michael Minrod; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, George Minrod (Kathy) and Jeffrey Minrod.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 PM on Friday, May 15th at Haus Bartashus Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. in New Philadelphia, PA. A Public Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until the time of services.

Haus Bartashus Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. in New Philadelphia, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Margaret R. "Peggy" Klemovage, 72, of Frackville, passed away Tuesday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill in Pottsville. 

Born at the former Locust Mountain Hospital she was the daughter of the late Edward & Anna (Bokus) Bradbury Sr.. She was a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and had been employed by City Shirt Factory. She was a volunteer with the Mahanoy Area Food Pantry and Meals on Wheels. 

She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. 

Surviving are her husband of 52 years Robert A. Klemovage, a daughter Wendy Pangonis and her husband Frank of New Boston, a granddaughter Allison Pangonis as well as brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews. 

Services will be private. Contributions in her name to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Drive, Pine Grove, PA 17963 or the DAWGS Prison Program, 25 Brier Drive, Pottsville, PA 17901 would be appreciated. 

David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City is in charge of arrangements.

Samara M. "Sam" Yeagley, 23, of Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at home.

Born on March 18, 2003 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of Joshua L. Yeagley and fiancé Kristin Zimmerman, Angela Haag Yeagley, and step daughter of Wayne Ogburn.

She was a 2021 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School and received a Certificate in Grooming from Cindy's Canine Companions Salon and School in Bethel.

She worked for Mar-K Farms in Pine Grove, Blackstone Farm in Pine Grove and most recently Tractor Supply in Pine Grove.

Samara was a farm girl and loved animals, especially her beloved horse, Angel. She collected Breyer horses and was a very talented artist, having her artwork displayed at the high school during the Art and Woodworking exhibit.

Preceding her in death were her grandfather, Vernald Yeagley, Jr., and an uncle, Frederick Yeagley.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a brother, Xaviar Yeagley of Pine Grove, two sisters, Mackenzie and husband Ammon Johnson of Lebanon, Annabella Ogburn of Pine Grove; two nephews, Michael and Wyatt Johnson; her grandparents, Caridad Yeagley, Donald and Marian Haag, all of Lebanon; her companion, Christian Rudy; her beloved horse, Angel; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Ricky Ney officiating. There will be a visitation on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to her brother, Xaviar Yeagley, 1029 Suedberg Rd., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in her memory to care for her horse and other animals.
