The festival will run from Friday, May 29th through Sunday, May 31st at several locations throughout the city, including the Majestic Theater, Black Rock Brew Pub, The Chopping Block, and the Crimson House.
This year’s honored guest is actor Richard Kline, best known for his role as Larry Dallas on the hit sitcom “Three’s Company.” Festival organizers say Kline’s career has spanned more than five decades across television, film, and Broadway. In addition to appearing throughout the weekend, Kline will also host a comedy workshop and participate in a fan Q&A session.
The festival officially kicks off Friday evening with a Happy Hour Meet & Greet at Black Rock Brew Pub from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a Red Carpet Gala at The Chopping Block beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday’s schedule includes multiple film screening blocks featuring international films, documentaries, animation, horror, comedy, narrative films, and student films at both the Majestic Theater and The Chopping Block.
Kline’s comedy workshop will take place Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Majestic Theater. Organizers say the workshop will focus on comedic timing, performance techniques, and working in the entertainment industry, while also offering guidance for aspiring actors and filmmakers.
A Q&A fan event with Kline is also scheduled for Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The festival will conclude Sunday afternoon with an awards ceremony at the Majestic Theater from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission to the awards ceremony is free.
Festival organizers are offering individual event tickets as well as VIP All Access Passes, which include admission to all weekend events and film blocks.
