Robert John Frank
, 87, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Seacoast Medical Center, with his children by his side. Born in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Helen and Herman Frank. He was the loving husband of the late Joanie Heavey-Frank.

He was a graduate of Tremont High School. Following high school, Robert joined the United States Navy serving as a member of the San Francisco Group Pacific Reserve Fleet and aboard the USS Kearsarge (CV-33). He began a successful career in accounting with Textilease Corporation retiring from Social and Scientific Systems, in Maryland. While in Maryland, he was a member of the Ski Club of Washington, D.C.

Following retirement, Robert and Joanie moved to South Carolina where they resided together until her passing in 2023. He was an avid golfer with his handicap down to a single digit. Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He believed in friendships and kept in touch with high school classmates, former Navy shipmates, ski club friends, golfing partners, as well as those he had most recently met and befriended.

Surviving are his children, Natalie Steen (Sean), Cynthia Capaldi (Jeff), John Frank (Kelly), Margaret Tabb (Brian); grandchildren, Sam, Molly Jo, Jack, Franklin, Zackery (Blair), Ethen, Abbygale, Charlotte, Henry; and his great-grandchildren, Lucy and Grayson. Robert is also survived by his brothers, Joe Frank, Raymond Frank, and Eddie (Kathy) Frank. He is predeceased by his sister, Sally.

Donald J. "Oscar" Ney
, 71 of Orwigsburg, died peacefully Wednesday morning at home.

He was born December 18, 1954, in Pottsville, a son of Margaret Apolsky Ney, Pottsville and the late Donald Ney.

He was a 1972 graduate of the former St. Clair Area High School.

Oscar’s career spanned several notable positions, he worked for Reading Anthracite and Super Value Food Distribution, before he started working in 2000 at Penn State University Schuylkill Campus. There, until his retirement in 2022, he served as a handyman. Oscar was a familiar and beloved figure on campus, often seen driving his distinctive red Toro workman vehicle. His presence was marked by spirited exchanges with students who would cheer his name, to which he warmly responded with his signature “Yo! Yo!”

Oscar was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven and served as secretary of the Schuylkill Miners Examination Board. Moreover, his passion for sports and mentorship was evident in his two decades of coaching Blue Mountain Boys and Girls Tennis, where his guidance left a lasting impact on young athletes.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 47 years, Michelle “Shelly” Brinich Ney; their son, Benjamin Ney of Orwigsburg; and four sisters, Elizabeth Rosenberger, Sandra Laguna, and Janice Woll, all of St. Clair and Lori Ney of Philadelphia.

John T. Jusinski
, formerly known as “Fat John,” 89, of Forestville, formerly of Raven Run Road, passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, on August 23, 1936, he was the son of the late Charles and Olga (Racciopi) Jusinski.

John was a hardworking and devoted family man who spent his life providing for those he loved. Over the years, he held many jobs, including driving a taxi in Newark, serving as a machinist at Johnson & Johnson, and proudly owning Fat John’s Bar and Tavern in Lost Creek.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Marilyn (Rainys) Jusinski, in 2006; and by two sons, Robert Dalley in 1997 and Michael Dalley in 2014.

John is survived by his children: Valerie Dinich and her husband, John, of Forestville, PA; Tracey Jusinski and her fiancé, Joseph Lesko, of Durham, NC; Karen Bullaro of Toms River, NJ; Ronald Dalley of Frackville, PA; and Duane Dalley of Shenandoah Heights, PA. He is also survived by many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

John was a lifelong fan of the New England Patriots and his favorite hobby was fishing at the Pumping Station in Brandonville. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family during game nights and gatherings. He loved sharing stories from his younger years, often while enjoying a cold beer and a shot of whiskey. His unforgettable stories and deep love for his family will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for the compassionate care and support they provided.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Monday, June 1st from 8 to 10am at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah. Funeral services will be conducted at 10am in the funeral home by the Very Rev. Gregory Noga of St. Peter and Paul Church in Minersville. Burial will immediately follow in the Our Lady of Dawn Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.

Robin E. Doran
of Towson, Maryland died on September 3, 2025, at the Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson surrounded by her family and friends after a courage battle against cancer.

Born in Pottsville, PA on October 30, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Richard W. Doran and Mary L. (Smith) Doran. In addition, to her parents, she was predeceased by her paternal grandmother Ellen K. (Zimmerman) Doran.

Robin was a 1981 graduate of Schuylkill Haven Area High School and a 1989 graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

She is survived by her sisters Brenda Doran of Gordon and Donna Doran of Schuylkill Haven. Robins extended family includes an uncle, aunts, and cousins. She also had many friends in Schuylkill Haven and Towson that she loved as family. Robin had a heart of GOLD and always tried to help others whenever possible.

She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Towson, Maryland, where she volunteered when her health permitted.

Services were held privately.
