John Antalosky, 87, of Reading, PA, passed away Sunday, May 17th, at Complete Care at Berkshire, Reading.
John was born in Morea, PA on May 9, 1939, a son of the late Mary (Debuski) and John Antalosky.
He graduated from Mahanoy Township High School.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He loved to go on casino trips and especially liked to hunt, fish, and play golf with his friends.
He was husband of the late Ann Marie (Truskolasky) Antalosky.
John is survived by a daughter, Lori Meyer, of Reading; five sons Steve Stinsky, of Reading; Scott Antalosky, of Reading; Brad Antalosky, of Boyertown; David Antalosky, of Hegins, Dan Antalosky, of Hegins. John is also survived by a sister, Virginia Taratko, of Bayonne NJ. 9 Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
He is preceded in death by two sisters Lisa Lazarus, and Jane Petruska.
Office of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy 10:30 AM on Friday, May 22nd at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Mahanoy City, with Father Jim Carroll officiating.
Friends and family may call at the church from 9 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday May 22nd.
Interment will follow at St Stanislaus Cemetery Shenandoah.

James F. Hepler, 97, of Lavelle passed away Saturday afternoon May 16, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home Inc, 901 Centre St, Ashland PA 17921 has been entrusted with the arrangements.
James T. "Jim" Honicker, 62 of Port Carbon, died peacefully Wednesday evening May 13th at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon.
He was born on January 20, 1964, in Pottsville a son of the late Thomas F. and Elizabeth Lutzkanin Honicker.
He was a 1982 graduate of the former St. Clair Area High School, St. Clair. Jim furthered his education at Williamsport Community College
Throughout his professional life, Jim held numerous positions, embracing the role of a jack of all trades with enthusiasm and reliability. He found particular fulfillment in his final roles as a maintenance worker at the former Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic, as well as serving as the Sexton at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville, where he was also a member.
Jim was widely regarded as an all-around nice guy, known for his warm personality and helpful nature. His passions extended beyond his work; he enjoyed the outdoors and cherished visits to his sons while they were in college. An avid tinkerer, he delighted in fixing and improving many things throughout his life, a testament to his resourcefulness and practical spirit. He was also a founding member of the Schuylkill County Fire Historical Society.
Jim’s proudest accomplishments included his dedicated service as a scout leader, guiding both of his sons from cub scouts through to achieving their Eagle Scout ranks.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Honicker, and nephew, Jevon Honicker.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Joan M. Shappell Honicker; two sons, Thomas Honicker of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Christian Honicker of Port Carbon; and a sister, Diane Valentine of California. He is also remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who were part of his extended family circle.
Memorial service celebrating the life of Jim will be held 11AM Saturday, May 30 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, Rev. Chris Rothharpt officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30AM until the time of services at the church. Interment will follow in the adjoining Memorial Garden of the church. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Jim be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch Street, Pottsville, PA 17901

Carol Anne Martin, age 72, of Pottsville, PA passed away Sunday, May 10th, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born in Pottsville, PA on December 6, 1953, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Clara E. (Schoffstall) Smith.
Carol was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 1971 and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Randall R. Martin, Sr. in 2016, brothers: John and Charles Smith and brother-in-law Charles Tobias.
Carol is survived by sons: Robert Weismiller, Jeffrey Weismiller and Joshua Williams, all of Pottsville; sisters: Sherry Tobias, Pottsville and Tammy Smith, Pine Grove; grandchildren: Robert Weismiller III, Gracelin Weismiller, and Kamilah and Joshua Villanuevar-Williams; her granddogs Philo and Pheona; and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon at 7PM on Thursday, May 21st, with Rev. Chris Rothharpt officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a visit with the family on Thursday evening from 6-7PM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be held private.
