Born in Pottsville August 17th 1959. He was the son of Bridget ( Mason) Tassone of Pottsville and the late George Tassone.
George worked at several local restaurants in the kitchen and also Giant in Pottsville before retiring.
He was a member of New English Baptist Church of Minersville. Former member of order of the Eagles, Amvets, and West End Hose Co. Pottsville.
Surviving are his wife of 29 years Linda (Moyer) Tassone and mother Bridget Tassone. Brother Louie Tassone. Sister Inez Dombrowski and husband James all of Pottsville. Nieces and Nephews Jason Harman, Ashley Anderson and husband Adam, Hunter Dombrowski, Brianna Tassone all of Pottsville. Kali Tassone Jonathon Tassone, Dominique Tassone all of Duluth Mn.
He was preceded in death by his father, his brother John Tassone and niece Stephanie Tassone.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday May 31st from 2 to 4pm at St. Clair Wade United Methodist Church, 23 North Front St. Saint Clair PA 17970.

Veronica M. Shafransky, 81, passed away peacefully at her home on on May 26th, 2026.
Veronica was born in Shenandoah on June 20, 1944, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Hudak) Andrulonis. She was a 1963 graduate of the Shenandoah Catholic High School, and earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from the North Schuylkill Vo-Tech School, South Campus in 1982.
She worked as a private duty nurse, in addition to being previously employed at the former General Cigar Company in Mahanoy City and Mr. Hanger Plant in Ringtown.She was of the Catholic faith, and was a member of the former St. Stephens and St. Georges Churches in Shenandoah.
Veronica enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, especially Wildwood New Jersey, and going shopping and socializing whenever she had the opportunity. She was a very kind a beautiful person, inside and out.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly, wife of Robert Bykowsky, Anthony Shafransky; Bradley Shafransky, and his wife Christine. She is also survived by two grandchildren, TJ Shafransky and Lona Marie Shafransky.
A sister, Rita and her husband John Pecika, along with a niece, Adrian Ritter and a nephew Johnathan Pecika. A cousin, Theresa Bednar also survives.
Private services for Veronicas family are being provided by the Walukiewicz Oravitz Fell Funeral Home of Shenandoah.

William E Schwartz, age 78 of Hegins, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was born on January 8, 1948, in Regensburg, Germany, a son of the late Irvin Schwartz and the late Anna (Jooss) Schwartz.
Bill was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School, class of 1965.
He served in the US Army.
Bill was a mason for Russell Dietrich Construction.
He was preceded in death a brother, Dennis Schwartz.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Deborah (Schwalm) Schwartz of Hegins; his son, Brian Schwartz and his wife, Kathy of Jim Thorpe; his daughter, Jill Schwartz of Hegins; his three grandsons, Jake, Will, and Nik Schwartz of Jim Thorpe; his great-granddaughter, Elliana Schwartz; his three sisters, Gertrude Masser and her husband, Junior of Dalmatia, Cindy Reiner of Camp Hill, and Cathi Schwartz and her fiancé, Tony Stanitis of Hegins; and several nieces and nephews.
As per Bill's wishes, there will be no services.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.

Dennis J. Morgan, Jr., 46, of Carsonville Rd., Halifax, formerly of Tremont, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 in the Hershey Medical Center.
Born on January 24, 1980 in Pottsville, he was a son of Dennis Sr. and Pamela Kennedy Morgan of Tremont.
He was a graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.
Dennis had worked as an IT Specialist for the Pine Grove Area School District and Upper Dauphin School District. He was also co-owner of the Carsonville Hotel.
He loved the outdoors and he and his wife were avid hunters, even traveling to other states to hunt. He also enjoyed fishing.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Taryn Wentzel Morgan.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are three children, Morgan Imhof, Carter Morgan, and Kimber Morgan; a brother, Brian Morgan and wife Morgan Kennedy of Tremont; a sister, Kelly and husband Jesse Weiss of Schuylkill Haven; nieces and nephews; cousins, aunts and uncles, especially his uncle Terry Kennedy, who he had a close relationship with and spent a lot of time with him.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Mecks Cat House, P. O. Box 204, Millersburg, PA 17061 or online at meckscathouse.com in his memory.
The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove is in charge of arrangements.
