When the dust settled, Dylan Greannger, 29, captured the overall men's championship, completing the grueling 6.2-mile course in 33:42. Justin Skavery, 32, finished second in 37:13, followed closely by Tyler Ruff, 38, who crossed the line in 38:10.
On the women's side, Grace Curnow, 21, claimed the overall female title with a time of 44:13. Kaitlin Cushner, 36, finished second among women in 46:58, while Ashley Schappe, 30, placed third with a time of 48:04.
The annual race once again drew runners from across the region to tackle the demanding course that winds through the streets and hills surrounding Shenandoah. Known for its punishing elevation changes, the Coal Cracker 10K has earned a reputation as one of the toughest races in Pennsylvania.
The event also featured the popular Kids' Fun Run and Walk. Jairo Zamudio, 13, was the overall winner with a time of 9:19, narrowly edging Carson Good, 12, who finished in 9:21. Seven-year-old David Cushner rounded out the top three with a time of 9:39.
Liana Stoltzfus, 11, was the first female finisher in the fun run, completing the course in 10:00. Savanna Rychnovsky, 10, finished second among girls in 10:18, followed by Olivia, 10, in 10:59.
