Large Tree Falls on Multiple Vehicles at Eureka Park in Ashland; No Injuries Reported

A large tree came crashing down onto several vehicles parked at Eureka Park in Ashland on Sunday morning, causing extensive damage but fortunately leaving no one injured.
The incident occurred in the area near the Ashland Little League concession stand, where two of the three vehicles involved belonging to the same family were parked.

One of the vehicles sustained heavy damage after the tree crushed the roof, effectively destroying the vehicle. A second vehicle suffered damage to the hood and windshield, while a third vehicle sustained scratches and a cracked windshield.

The Ashland Fire Department responded to the scene along with Washington Ambulance. Firefighters worked to cut up and remove the fallen tree, while PPL crews responded to remove power lines that had been brought down during the incident.  Pennsylvania State Police also responded to the scene.

Despite the significant damage, no injuries were reported.  The incident occurred while an All Star Game was going on.

The fallen tree blocked the area surrounding the vehicles as emergency personnel worked to secure the scene and begin cleanup efforts.
