According to court records, Paul Michael Tuske, 32, of Minersville, was charged June 11 with four counts of dissemination of child sexual abuse material, four counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
State Police from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation's Computer Crime Task Force said investigators received nine CyberTipline referrals from NCMEC involving activity dating from July 2024 through February 2025.
The affidavit states that investigators determined the files had allegedly been shared through the Kik Messenger platform using several different screen names and email addresses. The tips alleged that dozens of files depicting child sexual abuse material were transmitted in private messages and messaging groups.
Investigators traced the activity to an IP address and, through subpoenas issued to Comcast, identified the internet subscriber a residence on North Street in Minersville. Additional investigation linked Paul Tuske to the address.
According to the affidavit, troopers conducted surveillance at the residence on June 8 and observed vehicles associated with the property. A search warrant for the residence was approved June 10 by Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker.
State Police executed the warrant on June 11. According to the affidavit, Tuske agreed to speak with investigators and admitted to using the Kik application and other social media platforms to download and disseminate child sexual abuse material. Police said he also acknowledged viewing such material on a Google Pixel cellphone within the previous two weeks.
Troopers stated that Tuske told investigators he possessed and viewed the material for the purpose of sexual gratification.
During the search, police recovered a Google Pixel cellphone from Tuske's bedroom. According to the affidavit, a forensic examination of the device revealed numerous files depicting child sexual abuse material.
Tuske was taken into custody and transported to PSP Frackville for processing.
Court records show Tuske was arraigned June 11 before on-call Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli, who set bail at $75,000. Tuske was unable to post bail and was committed to Schuylkill County Prison. A preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Edward M. Lewis is scheduled for June 23.
