Hundreds of craft beer fans filled Downtown Pottsville on Saturday for the 2026 Schuylkill County Brew Fest, featuring local and regional breweries, homebrewers, live music and professional wrestling.
The July 25 festival brought breweries from across Pennsylvania together for an afternoon of sampling and competition. Attendees had the opportunity to try a wide selection of beers ranging from traditional lagers and stouts to IPAs, sours and other specialty varieties.
Robin Hood Brewing Co. captured the festival’s main championship, adding another title to the brewery’s record of success in the Skook brewing competitions.
Tom Ryan Brewing earned the top honor in the homebrew competition.
This year’s festival lineup included hometown breweries Pilger Ruh Brewing and Black Rock Brewpub, as well as Three Phase Brewing Company, Frackville Brew Co., Yuengling Beer, Imprint Beer Co., Rural City Beer Co., Pagoda City Brewing, Tröegs Independent Brewing and numerous others.
Several breweries made their Skook Brew Fest debuts, including Second Sin Brewing Company, Jim Thorpe Brewing Company, Oak Tree Orchard and Pennsy Hard Tea.
Live music was performed by Brad Harden, while professional wrestling added another dimension to the festival with the 30-Man Over Pour Rumble. The match featured wrestlers competing for the “Last Call Keg,” which provides its holder with an opportunity to challenge for the Fightertainment Championship.
