Lloyd E. “Bud” Kerschner, 91, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026, at home with family by his side.
Born in Auburn on February 6, 1935, Bud was a son of the late Harrison F. and Anna (Dissinger) Kerschner. He was the husband of Emily J. (Auman) Kerschner.
He was a member of St. John's Church in Auburn. Bud served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and worked as a welder for Dana Corporation.
Bud was a member of Auburn Game and Fish Association, a lifetime member of Auburn VFW Post No. 3975 and a member of Schuylkill Haven American Legion Post No. 38.
In addition to his wife, Bud is survived by his daughters, Donna Nebistinsky, wife of Joe, of Dillsburg; Kathy Moyer, wife of Kevin, of Schuylkill Haven; and Amy Knepp, wife of Charles, of Montana; and his sons, Lloyd Kerschner Jr., husband of Laurie, of Benton; Glenn Kerschner, husband of Diane, of Hamburg; Kerry Kerschner, husband of Donnette, of Minersville; and Kris Kerschner, husband of Heather, of Schuylkill Haven. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The last surviving member of his immediate family, Bud was preceded in death by four brothers and seven sisters.
A viewing will be held at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, on Tuesday, September 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. An additional viewing will be held Wednesday, September 23, from 10 a.m. until the service.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, at the funeral home, with Pastor Walter Breiner officiating. Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, September 24.
At the family's request, memorial donations may be sent to St. John's Church, 200 Pearson St., Auburn, PA 17922.

Joan Ann Tregea, 87, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026, at home.
Born in Pottsville on January 16, 1939, Joan was a daughter of the late Roy Franklin and Alma R. (Behm) Strause. Married for 55 years, she was the widow of James N. Tregea.
Joan was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 1956, and a member of Grace Free Church in Orwigsburg.
Joan was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her home and family. She was a great cook and an extremely skilled baker. Joan's family was the center of her life, and she treasured their time together. She especially enjoyed traveling in their RV and looked forward to family vacations; trips to Chincoteague Island held a special place in her heart.
Joan is survived by her children, Brenda Perhonitch, widow of Edward, of Schuylkill Haven; James Tregea Jr. of Schuylkill Haven; and Morgan Tregea, husband of Linda, of Scranton; grandchildren, Kimberly Defrank (Dominic), Jamie Kukuk (Blake), Jordan Tregea, Kristen Perhonitch and Jodi Perhonitch; great-grandchildren, Lillian Nelson, Trinity Gamrak, Talan Gamrak, Blake Kukuk and Elise; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Joan was preceded in death by her grandsons, Michael Tregea and Adam Gamrak Jr., and her siblings, Ron (Sandra) Strause, Harold “Bud” Strause and Marie (Strause) Hallock.
Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, has been entrusted with arrangements.
Michael A. Kitsock
Michael A. Kitsock, 65, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026.
Born in Ashland on May 20, 1961, he was the son of the late Metro and Julia (Levullis) Kitsock.
Mike was a veteran of the United States Army. He was self-employed and operated heavy equipment doing demolition for most of his career. He had a passion for buying and selling cars and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Kitsock, and two sisters, Carol Ann Siemons and Arlene Ney.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sandra (Klees) Kitsock; a son, Kyle Linkchorst of Girardville; two daughters, Tiffany Kitsock with Dennis of Florida and Lindsey Kitsock of Ashland; a brother, Dennis Kitsock of Girardville; a sister, Donna Russell with William of Frackville; nine grandchildren, Kylynn, Ryelle, Braylon, Gianni, Alexa, Enzo, Gia, Kianna and Karson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation for family and friends will take place Tuesday, September 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc., 40 N. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Scripture services will be conducted at 6:45 p.m. by Father Christopher Zelonis. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Alex L. Fell
Alex L. Fell, 57, of St. Clair, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Geisinger Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Paterson, New Jersey, on December 24, 1968, he was a son of the late Charles Fell Sr. and Dolores (Bucklar) Fell.
Alex was a heavy equipment operator for Rausch Creek and a member of Buck Fever Rod & Gun Club.
Alex enjoyed being outdoors and was happiest when he was doing the things he loved, including fishing, mountain biking, shooting, driving Jeeps, and riding ATVs and UTVs. He also had a passion for mixed martial arts and trained in karate, kickboxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He treasured the friends he made along the way, creating an unbreakable bond of friendship and loyalty with those who became like family to him.
Surviving are his wife, Joanna Fell, and his niece, Nevaeh Brake, who together were the family he cherished so dearly.
His siblings include Michael Fell and his wife, Carol; Charlie Fell and his wife, Tracey; Mary Jane Farrell and her husband, Bill; Lisa Fell; and Scott Fell and his wife, Jessica.
Also surviving are his aunt, Mary Jane Mattera; nieces and nephews, Katherine Fell Woegens and her husband, Matthew; Michael Fell Jr.; Charles M. Fell; Taylor Fell; Jamie Lee Farrell; Kyle Farrell and his wife, Stefanie; Leanna Binder; Megan Clark; Christian Wilson; Anakin Wilson; Haley Fell; Sadie Fell; and Sage Fell; as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 N. Second St., St. Clair, PA 17970. Friends are invited to visit from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, specifically AstraZeneca Hope Lodge, 110 W. Laurel Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19012, which provides lodging and support for cancer patients and their caregivers receiving treatment locally.

Louise Marie Harig
Louise Marie Harig, 74, of Port Carbon, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.
Born in Pottsville on April 22, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Marcella A. (Kripas) Olechnowicz.
Louise was a graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School, Class of 1970. She was also a licensed cosmetologist and earned an associate degree in accounting from McCann School of Business, Pottsville. Louise worked in the accounting department at Empire Beauty School, Pottsville. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Clair.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael J. Harig, and a brother, Edward J. Olechnowicz Jr.
Louise is survived by a daughter, Jessica R. Weiss and her husband, Robert; grandsons, Zachary Eiler and Christopher Laundry and his wife, Jayna; a sister, Lenore Stepanic; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon, with Monsignor William Glosser officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be held privately at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Pottsville.
