According to the Pine Grove Water Department, on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at approximately 1:30 PM, a repair was being made to a water main near on E. Mill Street.
Customers may experience a drop/ loss in water pressure due to a water leak repair.
A loss in water pressure is a signal of the existence of conditions that could allow contamination to enter the distribution system through backflow by back-pressure or back-siphonage.
As a result, there is an increased chance that the water may contain disease-causing organisms.
The boil water advisory is in effect for all water customers.
