Around 6:45pm, emergency personnel were called to 266 Brandonville Road, Mahanoy Township for a motorcycle accident.
According to Mahanoy Township Police, one person was killed in the crash but their identity is not released at the time of this posting.
A Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner was called to the scene.
As of 7:30pm, Route 339 (Brandonville Road) is closed.
