GoJoe 24 to End Day 1 in Shenandoah on Monday


WNEP's Joe Snedeker is doing his annual bike ride and it has been announced his first leg of his 2021 journey will end in Shenandoah.

For the past 24 years, Snedeker has spent one week in July riding his bicycle to raise money for St. Joseph's Center in Dunmore. The 2021 edition will begin this Monday, July 19th, 2021 at WNEP studios.

According to Mrs. T's Pierogies, which is a favorite of Snedeker's, announced that Day 1 will conclude in Shenandoah.

Joe is expected to ride into the borough anytime between 4:30pm and 6:30pm from the east end on East Centre Street.

Before arriving in Shenandoah, Joe is expected to ride down Route 309 from Hazleton into McAdoo, through Delano and Mahanoy City before arriving into Mrs. T's hometown and finally stop in the 200 Block of Main Street.

Joe is expected to talk with local residents prior to a live broadcast at 5:00pm.

Day 2 will start in Frackville on Tuesday and travel through Gilberton, Girardville, Ashland, and Locustdale before moving into Northumberland County.
